Lake Mary Events Center is a lakefront wedding venue in Lake Mary, Florida. It’s a hidden gem on the water with a glass-enclosed rotunda that puts the lake right behind your ceremony. The back lawn turns into one of the best sunset portrait spots in Central Florida.

The Rotonda is a full wall of floor-to-ceiling glass, so the lake becomes the perfect backdrop. My favorite portrait spot on the whole property is inside, looking straight out at the lake with the sun coming through that glass wall. In summer, once the sun starts to go down around 8pm, the lawn along the lake takes over with golden light.

The glass-enclosed rotunda is your built-in backup, but we love it as a first option. A full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows keeps the lake perfectly right behind the altar.
When is the best light for photos at Lake Mary Events Center?
In summer, the back lawn gets the best golden light around 8pm as the sun goes down towards the lake. It’s one of the best sunset spots in Central Florida, so definitely plan a few minutes outside then. Earlier in the day, my favorite spot is inside, looking out through the rotunda’s glass wall, which gives soft window light at almost any hour.
